The recent “Global CISO Think Thank” event in London was high quality and gave Cyber Security Leaders to engage and debate on key Cyber Security challenges.

The quality of speakers, moderation and participants was high, the agenda was rich for the 1//2 event. The discussion on CISO’s liability following the UBER breach was interesting, and the future of the CISO role including being on the C-suit table and compensated accordingly. The reverse trend in Cloud computing due to the increased cost pressures was surprising , and the presentation on the risk of Data flow between multiple Cloud and on-prem platforms was a High Cyber Risk and how it could be mitigated.

The Benelux CISO Executive Forum in Amsterdam brought invaluable expertise together through a very experienced group of CISO, Data Privacy Officers and Industry experts. The diversity in the room allowed for an interactive debate for the benefit of the wider audience. As a a VIP Panel Member, discussing on the Interdependency between Data Privacy and Cyber and on the Advisory Panel, talking about the future regulatory frameworks, confronting my experience with other leaders’ point of view was a great experience.

The event offered a fantastic opportunity to engage with other professionals in the field and not only share knowledge but to learn through dialogue and debate. It was a perfect networking platform to meet and greet in an inclusive environment.
